LEMONGRASS

Thai food combines the best of several Eastern cuisines: the oriental bite of Szechwan Chinese, the tropical flavor of Malaysian, the creamy coconut sauces of Southern Indian and the aromatic spices of Arabian food.
 
The most prevalent flavor in Thai cooking comes from the chili, which surprisingly was introduced to the country by Portuguese missionaries in the sixteenth century. It didn’t take the Thais long to make good use of it, believing that chilies cool the body, stimulate the appetite and bring balance and harmony to their food. 

A Thai meal offers a combination of flavors; sweet, hot, sour, salty and sometimes bitter. With the heavy reliance on rice, abundance of fresh herbs and vegetables, minimal use of oil, and treatment of meat as a condiment rather than a main course, Thai and Vietnamese food has to be among the healthiest on the planet.

HOUSE SPECIALTY
Marinated with our family’s traditional herbs and spices, roasted in a charcoal
oven to a golden crisp. The bones are then removed to serve you only succulent
bite size pieces. All crispy roasted duck dishes are served over a bed of mixed
